The One Piece story is now at the end, about 80% of the whole story is over. Eiichiro Oda recently stated that Luffy's journey is coming to an end and he wants to end it in the next five years.

We still do not know if Oda will be able to finish the One Piece story in five years or not, but the editors are confident that Oda will be able to finish it in the next 5 years.
